How to activate Veterans’ benefits at Â鶹´«Ã½
- Apply for admission to Â鶹´«Ã½.
- Apply for Veteran’s Education BenefitsÌý
- Visit the and/or call the Veteran Educational Benefit Office (888.442.4551).
- Submit a copy of your COE (Certificate of Eligibility) to [email protected].Ìý
- After you are officially enrolled, complete the Â鶹´«Ã½ . This form must be filled out before each semester you attend at Nelson.Ìý
Benefits Available at Nelson
Â鶹´«Ã½ is authorized by the Department of Veterans Affairs to certify students enrolled in our degree programs for benefits under:
- Chapter 33 ( and Yellow Ribbon)
- Chapter 30 (Montgomery G.I. Bill – Active Duty)
- Chapter 31 ()
- Chapter 35 ()
- Chapter 1606 (Selected Reserve)
- Chapter 1607 (Reserve Educational Assistance Program)
Eligibility and chapter are determined by the Department of Veterans Affairs (888-442-4551).
As a private university, Nelson is not eligible to participate in the Texas Veterans Hazelwood Act.
