Lady Lions fall to TAMUT 2-1
Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) women鈥檚 soccer Texas-A&M-Texarkana
鈥淚t was a head-to-head game against a team that was determined to defend their home field.聽 We were able to grab some take-aways , which will equip us for our next opponent,鈥 says head coach Paul Hason .
TAMUT scored just three minutes before halftime, to make the score 1-0.聽 Near the 60 minute mark, they were able to score again.
厂础骋鲍鈥檚 Aliyah Mora scored off of an assist from Laura Sturgeon in the 64 th minute.
The Lady Lions were outshot 19-7.聽 TAMUT also had five corner kicks compared to 厂础骋鲍鈥檚 zero.
On Saturday, September 24, 2016, SAGU will travel to play Jarvis Christian (1-5).聽 Game time is at 2pm.
