Burns and Porter named NAIA Scholar-Athletes
Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) women鈥檚 soccer 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes Sarah Porter Witney Burns
鈥淚t requires another level of self-discipline in order to be a student-athlete and both Sarah and Witney can always look back on their collegiate career knowing they finished the race well,鈥 says head coach Paul Hason .
In order to receive a nomination, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 
on a 4.0 scale. 聽They must also have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for the honor.
In all of the NAIA, 578 women鈥檚 soccer student-athletes have been named 2016 Daktronics-NAIA-Scholar-Athletes .聽 Goshen (Indiana) leads all programs with 14 individuals on the list.
